Even though my son was so shy, Santa Ed was fantastic…
We did a Zoom call with Santa. My son was so start struck he could barely speak, but when we got off the call he melted in happiness.
And, even though my son was so shy, Santa Ed was fantastic, asking questions and even getting my son to sing a song with him.

Magic might seem like a trivial adjective when talking about Santa Claus. But the truth is that in such an upside-down world, the word “magic” takes on a different meaning.
How to tell a 3-year-old girl, who for the first time “feels” the Christmas spirit that what she sees on TV, in cartoons, in stories in books, she cannot live it because there is a tiny cursed virus that obliges to stay at home?
And then, Ed, with that smile capable of striking even the memories of us adults, even with a video call, brings back the magic.
Because after all, he’s not one of many Santa Clauses. It is Santa Claus calling from his home, far away, there at the North Pole.
And then Zoom becomes an opportunity to visit Santa Claus at his house, he too closed in the house, like all of us with a common destiny.
The magic becomes a smile on my daughter’s face the next morning.
This is my experience. This is my story of a few minutes not virtual, but real, thanks to technology.

It was really fun for my kids to have a virtual visit with Santa. In the past when we have visited Santa in person, they have always been afraid to talk, but virtually they had a lot to say.
It was neat to watch and Santa Ed did a great job.

Though we have visited Santa at our local mall for years, the experience with Santa Ed was better as it felt so personal and his attention was so focused on our kids.

My 8-year-old son immediately after the call turned to me and said “Dad that was amazing!” and my 5-year-old daughter hasn’t stopped talking about it since.
It was so personal and Santa Ed is beyond authentic.
This is exactly what we needed this year, I was so stressed about how to keep the magic alive and Santa Ed did just that.
I was up late one night with my 11-month-old and started trying to find virtual meetings with Santa and Santa Ed’s site and references sold me. It was initially a very intimidating process because you are so worried about the experience and will Santa be authentic, and after my research, I felt good about booking Santa Ed.
Then when I called prior to the visit and spoke with Santa Ed I was even more sold and more comfortable for the kids to meet Santa in this way.
Thank you for the experience! You kept the magic alive in a year where it seems magic is hard to find.

The kids loved it!
Santa Ed was so good with them. Him being able to throw in little facts like he knew them made the kids comfortable and one of the best interactions we have ever had with a Santa.
The kids were so excited leading up to it and didn’t lose the excitement.
I was worried since 30 min on zoom with a 4-year-old can be rough, but Santa Ed kept them entertained and let them be kids (my 4 year old decided he needed to eat carrots after they discussed feeding reindeers). He let them show him their drawings and was so patient with them.
This is a year where we worry about kids missing out on the holidays. This was a way to give them some of that magic for the season.

The Best Birthday Ever
I planned a Christmas in July themed quarantine birthday for my son’s 6th birthday and boy did a zoom with Santa Ed make it (in my son’s words) “the best birthday ever”.
Not only was Santa Ed really nice, responsive and easy to work with, he took the time to learn a few facts about my son that made it such a unique experience.
This is not your average Santa!
He is the real deal with an atmosphere to match his authentic look.
I don’t know how we are going to top this birthday unless Santa Ed is willing to ride his sleigh to the east coast and squeeze down our chimney next year.
We would definitely recommend and will be reaching out this winter for another zoom around the holiday season.
